How therapy with me can help you:
I strive to be create a safe and understanding space for my clients where we can discuss a variety of issues they may be dealing with. I am personable and conversational in my style and hope to create an environment where we can be collaborative around working through difficult emotions situations. I recognize we are all human and that means we all are growing and learning throughout our lives. For individuals, I use Narrative therapy and ACT and with couples I use EFT and Gottman.
About me:
I went to Virginia Tech for both my undergrad and graduate degrees. I have a BS in Human Development and a MS in Marriage and Family therapy. I have done some training in EFT and ACT. I aim to be a culturally humble therapist.
In my free time, I enjoy investing in my community through building social connections and attending community events. I also enjoy spending time with my cats, Oatmeal & Ginny, and building my indoor plant collection.
