How therapy with me can help you:
I am a dedicated therapist committed to helping working professionals and adults navigate past trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and daily stressors. I utilize a mindfulness-based approach to encourage clients to embrace their emotions, viewing them as experiences to be explored and understood. Recognizing the interconnected nature of mental health with various aspects of life, I adopt a holistic approach, considering clients' emotional, social, and cultural contexts to provide comprehensive support.
In DC’s fast-paced environment, balancing work and personal life can be particularly challenging, often leading to feelings of overwhelm and frequent stress. My approach helps clients learn to observe their inner experiences with acceptance and openness, making room for these experiences to promote healing and growth.
About me:
I received my Bachelor of Arts in psychology and rehabilitation and human development from the Pennsylvania State University. I then continued my journey at George Washington University where I went on to receive my Master’s in Education and Human Development, specializing in clinical mental health counseling.
On the weekends, you can find me playing tennis, practicing yoga, or enjoying one of the many DC farmers’ markets.
