Devin Thomas, LMFT, LGPC, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Washington, DC.
With a compassionate, non-judgmental, and honest style, Devin supports clients through their process of healing, growth, and self-discovery, in the here and now. Her work is integrative, grounded in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Relational, Trauma-informed, Psychodynamic, and Transpersonal. Devin utilizes various approaches and modalities, adjusting each session to the needs of the individual. Devin earned her BS in Psychology at the University of Mary Washington and her MA in Integral Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.
Prior to her career as a therapist, her work was saturated in holistic practices, teaching yoga & mindfulness to children and adults, volunteering my services as a Reiki Master to patients in hospice care, and advocating for social justice & the LGBTQ+ community. Devin pulls from this experience, incorporating the mind-body connection to support clients processing grief, sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia, and chronic illness.
