How therapy with me can help you:

My professional journey is rooted in a background in Community Health and Health and Wellness Coaching, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding how socio-ecological systems impact an individual’s well-being. This perspective, combined with my experiences in holistic health environments, allows me to approach therapy from an integrative, client-centered perspective.

Guided by the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued, I work collaboratively with clients to explore their unique challenges and strengths. I am particularly focused on empowering individuals to recognize the unconscious narratives that shape their behavior and relationships, fostering a sense of autonomy and freedom in making positive changes. In our sessions, I incorporate a strengths-based, emotion-focused, and solution- focused approach, helping clients reframe their thoughts and behaviors in ways that promote healing and growth.

In therapy, I aim to foster a process of self-discovery and transformation, creating a safe space for clients to develop greater insight into their past and present dynamics. By focusing on building peace of mind, strengthening personal agency, and encouraging new attitudes and reactions, I am dedicated to supporting clients in their journey toward improved relationships, personal growth, and overall well-being.

About me:

Before transitioning into therapy, I worked in wellness and health-related fields, where I learned how interconnected emotional and physical well-being are. My experience in holistic health settings, including with a traditional Chinese acupuncturist and herbalist, reinforced my belief in a whole-person approach to healing. I hold an undergraduate degree in Community Health and a Master’s in Health and Wellness Coaching from Maryland University of Integrative Health, giving me a strong understanding of how environmental, cultural, and familial systems influence mental and emotional health.

I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, where I focus on family dynamics, generational trauma, and understanding relationship complexities. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges with a focus on healing and growth.

Outside of work, I enjoy working out, dancing bachata and salsa, and spending time with family and friends. I am deeply committed to personal growth, and I bring that same dedication to my work, supporting clients in their journey toward transformation and fulfillment.
